We use information to provide scheduling, dispatch, customer communication, invoicing, reporting, and payment features inside Serrevo.

We also use data to support customer service, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and maintain platform performance and security.

Payments and third parties

Online payment processing and connected account onboarding may be provided through third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Payment processors handle sensitive payment data according to their own terms and privacy practices.

We share only the information necessary to provide platform operations, payment processing, communications, hosting, analytics, and compliance support.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Phone Numbers and SMS Communications

Serrevo may collect, store, and process phone numbers and messaging-related data when Users, Customers, Employees, Technicians, or other authorized parties interact with SMS, MMS, voice, or messaging features provided through the Serrevo platform.

Messaging functionality may include, but is not limited to:

  • Appointment confirmations
  • Dispatch notifications
  • Technician arrival notifications
  • Schedule updates
  • Invoice and payment notifications
  • Estimate notifications
  • Customer communication workflows
  • Support communications
  • Authentication or security-related messages
  • Operational alerts and service-related communications

Phone numbers and messaging data are handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable telecommunications, privacy, and consumer protection laws.

Information We May Collect

Serrevo and authorized Tenant accounts may collect and process:

  • Mobile and landline phone numbers
  • Messaging consent records and opt-in status
  • Message delivery status and timestamps
  • Message content and communication logs
  • Opt-out and unsubscribe requests
  • Device and carrier-related metadata
  • Customer communication preferences
  • Support or reply history associated with messaging interactions

Consent and Opt-In Requirements

Tenants using Serrevo messaging features are responsible for obtaining legally valid consent from their customers, employees, or recipients before sending SMS or messaging communications where required by applicable law.

Consent records may include:

  • Phone number submitted
  • Date and time of consent
  • IP address or device metadata
  • Consent form language accepted
  • Source of consent collection
  • Opt-in confirmation records
  • Opt-out history

Serrevo may store and maintain these records for compliance, audit, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal defense purposes.

Opt-Out Rights

Recipients may opt out of SMS or messaging communications at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to SMS messages
  • Following unsubscribe instructions where applicable
  • Contacting the sending business directly

After opt-out is processed, non-essential messaging communications will cease unless messaging is necessary for security purposes, legal obligations, transactional or operational communications, fraud prevention, or account administration.

Recipients may reply HELP for assistance where supported.

Messaging Providers and Third Parties

Serrevo may use third-party telecommunications and messaging providers, including SMS gateway providers, cloud communication platforms, and delivery carriers, to facilitate messaging services.

These providers may process messaging data solely for:

  • Message transmission
  • Delivery confirmation
  • Compliance monitoring
  • Fraud detection
  • Carrier enforcement requirements
  • Telecommunications operations

Third-party providers are contractually expected to maintain commercially reasonable safeguards for messaging data.

Phone numbers, messaging logs, consent records, delivery records, and related metadata may be retained for operational, compliance, audit, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, and legal purposes for a period determined by applicable law, carrier or telecommunications requirements, internal compliance policies, and legitimate business needs.

Retention periods may differ depending on message type, jurisdiction, or account status.

Prohibited Messaging Activities

Serrevo prohibits use of the platform for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, spam, or unauthorized messaging activities, including:

  • Sending messages without proper consent
  • Phishing or fraudulent communications
  • Harassment or abusive messaging
  • Illegal marketing practices
  • Transmission of prohibited or unlawful content
  • Violations of carrier rules or telecommunications laws

Serrevo reserves the right to suspend or terminate messaging access for violations of these requirements.

Security of Messaging Data

Serrevo implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect phone numbers and messaging-related data against unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no communication system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Tenant Responsibility

Tenants are independently responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable SMS, privacy, and marketing laws
  • Maintaining lawful consent practices
  • Managing customer communication preferences
  • Honoring opt-out requests
  • Ensuring messaging content complies with applicable regulations

Serrevo acts as a software and infrastructure provider and does not independently control Tenant-generated messaging content or recipient lists.

International Use

Messaging services may involve transmission of data across state, national, or international telecommunications networks. By using messaging features, Users acknowledge that messaging data may be processed in jurisdictions where Serrevo, its providers, or infrastructure operators maintain operations.

Updates to Messaging Practices

Serrevo may update its messaging practices, telecommunications providers, compliance procedures, or messaging-related features from time to time to comply with evolving legal, regulatory, operational, or carrier requirements.
